How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I have been running since I was in 6th grade so 4 years, I got started because I was looking for a sport to do and running seemed like a good fit.
What has your summer training consisted of? How much mileage you putting in?
Honestly I have not been doing as much summer training as I should be. I'd say an average of 3-4 miles.
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
My goals for this coming season are to improve my training habits and get a new PR.
What is your favorite workout?
During the season one of the workouts I enjoy
are hills, but also long slow endurance runs.
What did you learn from last xc season that will help you improve in 2019?
Last season I learned that I have a tendency to start to fast right after the gun goes off, and that is something I'm planning to work on.
When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
When I'm not running I'm skiing, swimming, or
with friends.
Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
On race days I usually eat a good breakfast, and
drink lots of water all day.
Favorite quote?
I don't think I have a favorite quote.
Snapchat or Instagram?
I'm definitely on Snapchat more
What shoes do you race/train in?
I currently don't have a pair of training shoes,
and I race in Saucony spikes.
What professional athlete would you most like to meet?
I think it would be cool to meet any
professional athlete.
What is your favorite food?
Favorite food, any type of fruit, or pasta.
