400m State record holder Jarett Flaker of Scarborough leads all 2020 outdoor returners over the one-lap race. A year ago he won the Class A title and was the New England runner-up with his 48.23 record-breaking effort. Cheverus senior Sean Tompkins & Westbrook senior Mahamed Sharif are the two other returners who broke 50 seconds last spring. Defending Class B champion Atticus Smith of Greely is another top returner.
