Defending league champion Thorin Saucier of Orono is back looking to defend his championship from last fall. Saucier also has the fastest returning 5k of all PVC returners with his 16:57. His teammate Kyle McClellan is another contender for the individual title, he finished as the runner-up a year ago and took down his teammate at the Northern Maine Regional a week later. McClellan's best time for 2019 was a 16:59.84 effort.
