When and how did you get into track and field?

My sister was running faster than me, and I got tired while climbing the 12 stairs from my first floor of my house to the second.


Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

Mathew Poulton, his physique is unmatched.


What was your greatest accomplishment?

2 things: high school indoor 4x8 record, and somehow graduating.


How has track and field impacted your life?

I can now eat unhealthy and not gain weight. My life has a sense of fulfillment now.


What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

Hurdles were always hard, as I still can't even box jump 18" inches.




How do you prepare for competitions?

"Bags of Bagels, Bundles of Bananas"-Joey Valliere


What influence has your coach had on your high school career?

He has shown that it IS possible to have an unlimited amount of patience, while also teaching us the fundamentals of the sport, all the while dominating the competition.


Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of track and field?

Fishing (specifically for anything that swims), flying drones, crashing drones, repairing drones, and when the drone isn't broken, wildlife photography.


What are your college plans?

Taking a prep year at SMCC to take advantage of the free college, and then MMA or USCGA.





What are your long term goals?

To serve in the United States Coast Guard as a commissioned officer.

What advice you would give to younger athletes?

Listen to your body, and more importantly, listen to your coaches.
