Racewalk

(Evan Vincent won the boys 1600 meter racewalk (7:35.12) while Abby Dunn took the girls (7:52.52)

 

Girls Long Jump

(Scarborough's Emily Tolman leaped out to a new state leader with her 16-2 jump, Maria Curit of Biddeford was out over 16ft as well, 16' 3/4")

 

 

Girls Mile

(Fiona Hendry (Cheverus) left and Rachel Nichols (Cape) right duel in the girls mile. Hendry would use her kick to sneak by Nichols in the final 50 meters, running the fastest mile in the state 5:19.81, while Nichols settled for the top time in Class B 5:20.69. A total of 4 girls were under 5:27)

 

Boys High Jump

(Patrick Ciez (Windham) took the high jump with a clearance of 6-4 1/2, the #2 jump in the state and a national qualifer)

 

Boys Mile

(Greely senior and Columbia bound Mark McCauley (Greely) took the boys mile leading wire to wire 4:36.29, 3 others were under 4:40)

 

Girls DMR

(TA's Grace Glynn anchored the winning DMR, clocking the #1 in the state with a 13:38.18)

 

Boys DMR

(Logan Price (Greely) anchored home the victorious DMR, Greely's time of 11:15.89 is the top time in the state this year.)

Girls 55m Hurdle final

(Scarborough's Jenny Snyder was even with Greely's Abby Diehl until she was able to pull away over the final two hurdles, to clock 9.18 the fastest time in the state.)

Boys 55m Hurdle final

(Scarborough's Ross Thomas used his height to his advantage will a timely lean to win the hurdles in 8.5, runner-up JC Esquibel of South Portland ran 8.52)

 

Girls SMR

(Danielle Laverriere (Biddeford) ran the 800m leg for the victorious Tigers, as they ran the top time in the state,  4:31.49)

 

Girls 4x800

(Kayla White (Thornton) got things started off on the 4x800 for the Trojans, who would cruise to an easy victory clocking 10:56.55)

 

Boys 4x800

(Andrew Snyder (Cheverus) anchored the victorious 4x800 team. The Stags clocked the fastest time in the state 8:26.01, in the process they broke the meet record)

Girls 4x400

 (Windham's Reilly Sullivan ran a great anchor leg to chase down first place and bring home the Eagles in first place, 4:36.02)

 

Boys 4x400

(Scarboorugh's Nick Morris anchored home the winning 4x400 relay team with his 54.4 split, Scarborough ran the top time in the state 3:43.73)

 

Girls 4x200

(Scarborough's Nicole Kirk anchored home the victorious 4x200m for the Red Storm, running 1:55.79)
