When and how did you get into track and field?

I started sophomore year so that I could have something to do in the spring.

Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

Maezy Gleason.

What was your greatest accomplishment?

Placing 5th in disc at SMAA's this year.

How has track and field impacted your life?

Track has helped me make so many friends and created a positive environment that really helped me grow over the years.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

Definitely having no indoor throwing coach this year.

How do you prepare for competitions?

I usually eat a snack and play some hype music to wake me up.


What influence has your coach had on your high school career?

They have encouraged me to work more and have more confidence in myself.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of track and field?

I love to paint and I also play field hockey.

What are your college plans?

I'm going to the University of Maine to study anthropology.

What are your long-term goals?

Stay fit and keep a positive mindset.


Who would you like to say thank you to?

I would like to say thank you to my family for their support at every track meet and my friends for cheering me on. Also to my coaches who have taught me all that I know.

What advice would you give to younger athletes?

Always remember to have a good time because it flies by really fast.
