With the 2023-24 indoor track and field season underway it hasn't taken long for athletes to start rewriting the all-time top ten indoor lists. We could be looking ahead to one of the best indoor track and field season in recent memory with the high level of talent across the state. We've have gone through and updated the all-time top ten lists with all of the 2023-24 season performances after the first two weeks.

New Additions
Triple Jump -- Arnaud Sioho(South Portland) broke the SMAA record and now sits 9th all-time 45-4 1/4, right behind Mt Ararat senior Ethan Palmer jumped 45-3 this past week to slide into the all-time list with the tenth best performance.
High Jump -- Josia Katroli, the Namibian U17 champion has moved to Lewiston and has made an immediate impact. The junior cleared 6-6 in the high jump to equal his personal best, his mark ties him for the 6th best mark in state indoor history.
Mile -- Houlton/GHCA junior Teanne Ewings had an impressive indoor track debut, in her first indoor race ever, Ewings clocked 5:03.86 to record the seventh best mile performance in state indoor history
2 Mile -- Ewings wasn't done, on her third race of the day she added to her accolades with a 10:53.06 with the seventh best 2 mile.
Long Jump -- Bonny Eagle junior Julia Pendleton leaped out to a new personal best 18-1 3/4 to get her indoor campaign underway this weekend, the mark moves Pendleton to the sixth furthest jumper in state indoor history.
Pole Vault -- Morse senior Sarah Ouellette has been on fire to start the season. Ouellette who signed with Roberts Wesleyan to continue her vault career next year has cleared 11-6 in her first two meets. The mark broke the KVAC record of 11-5 1/2 held previously by Beth Dumas of Cony the state record holder. Ouellette's mark is now tied for the second best jump in state history,
