When and how did you get into track and field?

My father signed me up for track when I was 8 years old for the Portland Rec. team.

Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

Andrew Griffiths.

What was your greatest accomplishment?

4x4 State champs, team state runners up, 400m runner up twice, 4x1 and 4x2 runners up

How has track and field impacted your life?

Track and field has given me a platform to showcase a skill I have, along with giving me something to work for with teammates who have similar aspirations.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

A pulled hamstring that got rehabbed, only to pull it again in the indoor smaas 400m in 2023.


How do you prepare for competitions?

Good nights rest the days leading up to competitions, along with lots of water consumption.

What influence has your coach had on your high school career?

My coach has lots of experience, so he's been through almost any situation possible. This has helped me be prepared before going into every competition.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of track and field?

I love to travel, play sports, and go to the beach.

What are your college plans?

I plan on attending the College of The Holy Cross as well as running there.


What are your long-term goals?

I plan on becoming experienced in the business-finance area.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

I would like to say thank you to all of my coaches over the last four years who put their time aside to help my teammates and I get better. As well as my family, who supported me through win or loss every step of the way.

What advice would you give to younger athletes?

Enjoy the moment and at the end of the day, it's just a race.
