When and how did you get into track and field?

Always had an arm in baseball, figured I could give javelin a shot.

Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

Nick Farrington- Sanford.

What was your greatest accomplishment?

2024 Class A Javelin State Champion.

How has track and field impacted your life?

Track has taught me discipline, and mental toughness.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

Sophomore year I tore my intercostals, which really threw me for a loop. I've struggled with Biceps Tendonitis for the last few years after lots of throws.


How do you prepare for competitions?

I need to be meet ready to throw to my potential. I need to focus and lock in on exactly what I'm doing with no distractions.

What influence has your coach had on your high school career?

My coaches have taught be discipline, and how to compete. Track and field is a mental game, you can put in all the work in practice, but if you can't execute when it matters most, you won't succeed.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of track and field?

I love to fish!

What are your college plans?

Continuing my career at The University of New Hampshire.

What are your long-term goals?

To pursue a degree in Health Science, and be admitted into dental school.

Thank you to Coach Hamilton and Coach Veilleux for not giving up on me, and helping me reach my full potential.

What advice would you give to younger athletes?

Focus. Learn to compete, being the champion of practice gets you nowhere if you can't execute in competition.
