Head of Class: Top 100 Class of 2027 Girls XC Rankings

We looked at the girls in the class of 2027 and ranked the top 100 based on their best 5k times during the 2024 season. The sophomore class is talented with four girls running under 19 minutes this fall. Mackenzie Shield of Thornton Academy had the fastest time at 18:33. Karen Higgins of Boothbay/Wiscasset was the Class C state runner-up. while Addison Elliott of Hampden Academy was the Class A runner-up and the top runner in the class of 2027 at the state championship meets.
