Check out the top 225 rising senior girls' cross-country runners from the 2024 cross-country season. Six athletes from the class of 2026 ran under 19 minutes for 5k a year ago. The talent in this class is impressive, and 2025 expects to be even better than a year ago. Defending Class B champion Zoe Carroll of York is one of the top returners in 2025. Carroll had an amazing 2024 season that saw her sweep the Class B postseason and then finish sixth at the New England Championship. In Class A, Laurel Driscoll is the top senior returner. She was third in the state meet last year in her first XC season. Soren Stark-Chessa of Maine Coast Waldorf is the top returner from the Class of 2026 in Class C. A year ago, Stark-Chessa placed third at the state meet.
