The Presque Isle Invitational took place last week, and it featured three teams with 23 boys competing along with 30 girls. The race highlighted several athletes who showed major progress from their 2024 performances, an early sign of exciting things to come this fall.

  
MAINE XC RANKINGS: BOYS XC | GIRLS XC
Caribou's Andrew Hewitt showed the biggest leap, cutting an incredible 11:34 off his time from last year. Teammates Cameron Levesque (-3:32) and Xander Jamison (-2:39) also made strong gains. Overall, 13 of the 23 boys who raced in both 2024 and 2025 improved their times.
