Messalonskee's Harlow Ladd (pictured left photo by Flewphoto) opened his season with a win in the Laliberte Invitaional, clocking 13:43. On the girls side Abby Mace (Maranacook) won her 3rd straight Laliberte girls race, winning by over a minute in 15:43. The race was shorten this year to 2.4 miles due to some construction.
