Abbey Leonardi (Kennebunk) pictured left won her 3rd straight Class A state championship this fall. Leonardi was undefeated in Maine, winning the SW Classic, Festival of Champions, Western Maine Regional in addition to the state title. Abbey also finished 2nd in the Footlocker Northeast meet for the 2nd straight year, as a result she qualified for the Footlocker National Championship meet in San Diego. At the National meet, Abbey finished 16th overall against the top girls XC runners in the country.

Matt McClintock (Madison) had an outstanding junior season that he capped off with his 2nd straight Class C XC title. McClintock clocked the fastest time in the state at the state meet 16:00.91. Matt also won the Festival of Champions title, along with the Western Maine Regional title. McClintock suffered just one defeat this season. He'll be back in 2011 looking for a 3rd straight title.
