This Week's Nominees:
Sloan Gardner, Cape Elizabeth High School (Maine): Won the shot put at the Bob Morse Invitational with a throw of 40-6.75, defeating state #3 Ella Cameron by over five feet.
Ella Cameron, Yarmouth High School (Maine): Captured three throwing events at the Bob Morse Invitational, taking the javelin with 128-2 and the discus at 119-10. Also set a new PR in the shot put with 35-3.75, breaking her previous mark of 34-7.5.
Seneca Haney, Mt. Desert Island High School (Maine): Clocked a state-leading 25.79 in the 200 meters at MDI Meet #1 while also winning the 100 in 12.29, a new PR that improved from her previous best of 12.85.
Angelina Boisvert, Nokomis High School (Maine): Swept four events at the Messalonskee Meet #1, winning the long jump (17-6.5), shot put (34-2.25), triple jump (35-9.75), and 100m hurdles (16.40). Her long jump was a new PR, improving from 17-0.75.
Haley Rose, Bucksport High School (Maine): Posted a state-leading 25.92 in the 200 meters at the Bucksport Meet #1, breaking her PR of 26.18. Also won the 100 meters in 12.69.
