Girls

Sarah Flaherty (Cape) leaps 5-0 to take the junior high jump

 

Carley O'Brien (Traip) out over 16'7 again this time 16-7 1/4, just off her Class B leader, O'Brien in the 55m hurdles 8.93, fastest time in Class B this season and state #2 performance, also win the triple jump 33-8

 

Fast 55m showdown won by Emily Mitchell (York) 7.71 over Sage Hennessey (Fryeburg) 7.73 both seasonal best times

 

Rachel Nichols (Cape) clocks #2 in the state in Mile 5:27.44

 

Kendra Lobely (Poland)  cranks a fast 800 2:25.25 for #2 time in the state then is just off the Class B leader in the 2 mile 12:01.31

 

 

Meet 2

Boys

Over feet again, the Greely duo of Michael Burgess & Jack Fellows continue to excel in the shot. Burgess wins this week 51-7 1/2, while Fellows is 2nd 51-1 3/4

 

Asa Arden (Yarmouth) leaps to the LJ win 19-6 1/4

 

Jacob Buhelt (Falmouth) dominates the jr division sprints. 6.86 (55m) and then 23.92 (200m)

 

Will Wegener (Falmouth) continues to be the top sprinter in conference, 6.77 (55m) and 23.19(200m), state leader in the 200m
