Jack Terwilliger (Cheverus) & Teal Jackson (Brewer) with the performances of the week. Terwilliger was selected based on his sub 10 minute two mile in the expo (9:55.5), which is the fastest time in the state without the 10 second conversion. By breaking 10 in the expo, Jack joins an elite group of distance runners who have dipped under 10 minutes on the 12 1/2 lap to the mile track. On the season, Terwilliger has clocked the #2 mile time with his 4:24.76 clocking, and has also qualified for the state meet in the 800m. On the girls side, Teal Jackson (Brewer) has been burning up the track at UMO all winter running fast sprint times. Last week Jackson clocked 60.15 for 400m to record the fastest time in the state for the event. Teal also has the state leader over the half lap distance as well 26.79.
