After another week of track & field action in Maine, it's time to vote for the MileSplit Maine boys performer of the week.

Note: Athletes who have been nominated in the past two weeks are not eligible. Previous winners are excluded for the rest of the season.
This Week's Nominees:
Drew Gervais, Bonny Eagle High School (Maine): Swept the sprints at the SMAA Outdoor Track Championship, winning the 100 in 10.63 and clocking a state-leading 21.91 in the 200. The 200 time puts him at #1 in Maine this season, while he also ranks as the top junior in both events statewide.
William Fagan, York High School (Maine): Put up 56-6.5 to win the shot put at the WMC Championship, topping a field of 40 competitors. The throw is tops in the state this spring.
Joseph Bennett, Mt. Desert Island High School (Maine): Threw 164-8 to capture the discus title at the PVC Large School Championship. He also placed third in the shot put with a mark of 49-3.25.
Thomas LeBlanc, Edward Little High School (Maine): Posted a winning height of 15-6 in the pole vault at the KVAC Large School Championship, making him the top junior vaulter in Maine. He also won the 110m hurdles in 15.65.
Atticus Merriam, Scarborough High School (Maine): Ran 1:55.67 to win the 800 meters at the SMAA Outdoor Track Championship, leading a field of 26 runners and ranking as the state's top junior in the event.
