The Mountain Valley Conference Championships delivered standout performances across the board, with several athletes capturing multiple individual titles and establishing themselves as the meet's dominant forces.
Maranacook's Evelyn Stevenson put together one of the most impressive all‑around days of the meet, sweeping both the 100m hurdles (16.19) and the 100m dash (13.19). Stevenson also tied for first in the high jump at 4‑10, giving her three MVC titles on the day.
Lisbon/Oak Hill freshman Jillian Smith delivered a breakout championship performance, winning the 300m hurdles (54.52), the triple jump (34‑4), and placing third in the javelin (94‑3) . Her versatility across hurdles and field events made her one of the meet's most valuable scorers.
Lisbon/Oak Hill's Tayen Smith also doubled up, winning the long jump (15‑1.5) and the pole vault (7‑6) while adding a runner‑up finish in the triple jump.
Madison's Bryanna Hagopian swept the distance events, taking the 1600m (5:23.07) and the 3200m (12:08.54) in commanding fashion.
Dirigo's William Morris dominated the distance races, winning both the 1600m (4:23.76) and the 800m (1:59.05) before returning to claim the 3200m title as well (10:00.85)-a rare and impressive distance triple at the conference level.
Mountain Valley's Logan Crews showcased elite hurdling and jumping ability, winning the 300m hurdles (42.22) and the triple jump (39‑2) while also placing second in the 110m hurdles (16.79).
Lisbon/Oak Hill's Maleek Beaumier had a strong sprint‑and‑jump combination day, finishing second in the 100m (11.70), second in the 200m (23.53), and second in the long jump (19‑7)-a high‑scoring triple that helped fuel Lisbon's team title push.
Spruce Mountain's Cai Dougher swept the vertical and horizontal jumps, winning the high jump (6‑2) and the long jump (19‑7.25) while adding a top‑10 finish in the triple jump .
Lisbon/Oak Hill captured the Girls' MVC Championship with a dominant 149 points, powered by major contributions in hurdles, jumps, relays, and throws. Hall‑Dale (77) and Maranacook (76) rounded out the top three in a competitive team race.
On the boys' side, Winthrop High School claimed the MVC Boys' Championship with 114 points, edging Lisbon/Oak Hill (109) and Mountain Valley (101). Winthrop's depth in sprints, relays, and field events proved decisive in securing the title.
