Brown drops US #1 for 2 Miles 10:48.95-Gary opens with 3 sprint wins, Harris pops a huge 44-5 1/2 in the triple

Bethanie Brown followed up her strong mile performance at the Bowdoin Relays with a US #1 performance at 2 mile 10:48.95. The time was a personal best by close to 46 seconds. This was the opening KVAC meet of the year that saw Waterville sweep the boys & girls meets. Also standing out was McKenzie Gary(Mt. Ararat) who won 3 events the 55 (6.85), 200m (24.08), & 400m (53.05). In the jumps Conor Harris (Edward Little) popped the top triple jump in the state by over 3 ft with his 44-5 1/2 leap, he added a win the long jump (20-5 1/2). Other state leading marks were a 35-0 1/4 triple jump from Kellie Bolduc (Waterville), Jacelyn Masters (EL) clearing 10-0 in the pole vault & Nicole Ross (Mt. A) 63.81 in the 400m,

- Two Mile Run - Bethanie Brown of Waterville High School earned a 10:48.95 win which was a US #1 performance and next was Brittany Bowman of Camden Hills Regional High School (11:51.78), Kelly Lynch of Mt. - 200 Meter Dash - Sasha Letourneau of Lawrence High School sprinted 27.63 for the victory, followed by Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little High School in 28.03, Georgia Bolduc of Waterville High School (28.47), Alexa Frame of Waterville High School (28.80)
- 400 Meter Dash - Nicole Ross of Mt. Ararat High School drove to a 1:03.81 to win, followed by Teiga Martin of Lincoln Academy in 1:06.74
- 55 Meter Hurdles - Alexa Frame of Waterville High School earned gold in 9.57, followed by Lizzie O'neal of Mt. Ararat High School in 9.69, Katie Dudley of Lawrence High School (9.73), Sarah Shoulta of Waterville High School (10.02)
- 55 Meter Dash - Sasha Letourneau of Lawrence High School smoked a 7.65 to win, a new SB with Bethany Berry of Oceanside High School on her heels in 7.69. After that was Georgia Bolduc of Waterville High School at 7.75, Maddison Prescott of Mt. Ararat High School (7.76), Olivia Reny of Gardiner High School (7.82), Ayumi Ranucci of Edward Little High School (7.90)
- High Jump - Courtney Mailly of Waterville High School sailed over 5-0 for the win, followed by: Katie Dudley of Lawrence High School (4-8), Leonie Hankle of Waterville High School (4-8), Desiree Leary of Medomak Valley High School (4-8), Allison Ward of Oceanside High School (4-8)
- Long Jump - Hitting a big 15-3.75 jump, Maddison Prescott of Mt. Ararat High School wins, followed by: Lexi Clavet of Edward Little High School (15-2), Bethany Berry of Oceanside High School (14-9.5)
- One Mile Run - Brittany Bowman of Camden Hills Regional High School held strong for a winning time of 5:28.80 with Kelly Lynch of Mt. Ararat High School in her shadow at 5:28.99. After that was Abby Hersom of Oceanside High School at 5:40.72, Lauren Mcnett of Mt. Ararat High School (5:49.33)
- Pole Vault - Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little High School got over 10-0 in her victory the top vault in the state this winter, followed by: Georgia Bolduc of Waterville High School (8-0)
- Triple Jump - Hitting a big 35-0.25 jump, Kellie Bolduc of Waterville High School wins (new season best mark) & new state leader, followed by: Bethany Berry of Oceanside High School (33-3.5), Lexi Clavet of Edward Little High School (32-7), Marissa Paquette of Lawrence High School (31-7.75)

- 200 Meter Dash - McKenzie Gary of Mt. Ararat High School drove to a 24.08 to win, trailed by Danny Pham of Waterville High School and his 25.20
- 400 Meter Dash - McKenzie Gary of Mt. Ararat High School blazed a 53.05 for the win, followed by Ryan Smith of Mt. Ararat High School in 55.21, Colton Burne of Mt. Ararat High School (55.74)
- 55 Meter Hurdles - Darnell Hairston of Edward Little High School hurdled to a 8.79 win, trailed by Devin Burgess of Waterville High School and his 8.97, Darien Acero of Waterville High School (8.98)
