The Scarborough girls closed out the meet with a state meet record in the 4x200 1:48.13, which gave them their 8th straight Class A title. Thornton Academy put in a valient effort for the runner-up trophy. On the boys side it came down to the relays as well with Scarborough winning the final relay to give them a 1 point victory over Deering in an exciting finish to a low team scoring state meet. Alexis Dickinson (Brunswick) broke the 55m state record 7.22, while Harlow Ladd took down the 2 Mile record 9:21.87.

- 4x800 Meter Relay - Cheverus High School 9:52.00 started the meet off win an easy win; Scarborough High School 9:59.21 got a great effort to get 8 much needed points; Deering High School 9:59.63 closed very well behind Edie Pallozi; Massabesic High School 10:01.58; Brunswick High School 10:03.62; Bangor High School 10:04.12; all got on the podium in a very close finish
- 55 Meter Hurdles - Sarah Perkins (Gorham High School) 8.55 remained undefeated in the state of Maine with a state title run, Allison Hill (Brunswick High School) 8.64 SB won the lean for 2nd place in a personal best time Grace Maclean (Bangor High School) 8.65 finished 3rd, running a personal best as well; Veronica Mitchell (Deering High School) 8.94 grabbed 4th palce breaking the 9 second barrier, while Tori Daigle (Thornton Academy) 9.14, Amanda Arnold (Thornton Academy) 9.15 SB, & Carly McKenna (Thornton Academy) 9.37 gave TA 3 scorers on the podium. In the trials Perkins set a lifetime best & state leading 8.49

Ararat High School) 7.56 crossed in 5th; Jessica Warren (Bonny Eagle High School) 7.63 had a big pr for 6th; Sasha Letourneau (Lawrence High School) 7.63 closed out the podium finishers in 7th. - One Mile Run - Fiona Hendry (Cheverus High School) was always at the front of the pack, as she pulled away for an easy victory running 5:16.20, Charlotte Pierce (Thornton Academy) 5:20.26 got 8 big points for TA finishing 2nd; Nyajock Pan (South Portland High School) 5:21.04 found another gear to nab 3rd holding off a hard charging Kelly Lynch (Mt. Ararat High School) 5:21.09, Teresa Murphy (Brunswick High School) 5:24.56 was good for 5th, while Kiera Murray (Cheverus High School) 5:28.28 was 6th overall. Rounding out the podium finishers was Angelyn Masters (Bangor High School) 5:34.59.
- 400 Meter Dash - Sarah Perkins (Gorham High School) 58.23 set a blistering pace for the opening 200m, coming through in 26 low. Perkins would hold on for the win, her 2nd of the day. Teal Jackson (Brewer High School) 58.31 ran a lifetime best for 2nd just running out of room at the end, Emily Tolman (Scarborough High School) 58.47 ran an indoor personal best good for 3rd place. In 4th was Audrey Weyand (Bonny Eagle High School) 1:00.04 her time was a personal best. Nicole Ross (Mt. Ararat High School) 1:01.28 was good for 5th while Andrea Tolman (Scarborough High School) 1:01.58 lifetime best scored out of heat 4 for 6th place. Veronica Mitchell (Deering High School) 1:02.28 SB also scored out of the 2nd section.
- 800 Meter Run - Samantha Cox (Bonny Eagle High School) 2:21.96 used a strong kick to capture her first state title. Edie Pallozzi (Deering High School) 2:22.70 tried to break away early & wound up 2nd; Nyajock Pan (South Portland High School) 2:23.24 had a strong double to nab 3rd holding off Ashley Robinson (Bangor High School) 2:23.45 who was 4th in a personal best. Emily Tolman (Scarborough High School) 2:23.89 made a valiant kick over the last 200m but ran out of track. In 6th was Samantha Pomroy (Noble High School) 2:24.14 while Anna Cowan (Brunswick High School) had a big race for a 7th place.
- 200 Meter Dash - Sarah Perkins (Gorham High School) 25.82 completed the triple with her 3rd win of the day as she just missed the state record of 25.80, her mark though was a new state leader. In 2nd was defending champion Nicole Kirk (Scarborough High School) 26.03 who ran a indoor best, out in lane 6 Alexis Dickinson (Brunswick High School) 26.12 ran a lifetime best for 3rd. In 4th was Teal Jackson (Brewer High School) 26.27. With Audrey Weyand (Bonny Eagle High School) 27.25 finishing in 5th while Sasha Letourneau (Lawrence High School) 27.40 crossed in 6th, & Nicole Ross (Mt. Ararat High School) 27.58 rounded out the podium

In 3rd Kaeleigh Harrison (Thornton Academy) 34-8 had a big time personal best, followed by teammate Shayleen Letellier (Thornton Academy) 33-0 SB in 4th. In 3rd was Chelsea Kuzio (Hampden Academy) 34-1.25 who edged our Tricia Stewart (Deering High School) 34-1.25 with a better 2nd jump. 5th place went to Hannah Southard (Gorham High School) 32-10.75 SB, followed by Amanda Arnold (Thornton Academy) 32-10.5 SB in 6th, rounding out the scorers was Clara Ellis (South Portland High School) 32-4.25 SB; 31-2.75

Ararat High School 8:15.40 dominated the event, dropping their state leader by over 10 seconds, as well as setting a new Mt A school record, Scarborough High School 8:23.87 moved up from their 4th seed to finish 2nd, Cheverus High School 8:24.11, the Stags had a strong day dropping their best time down 7 seconds for a 3rd place finish. In 4th was Bangor High School 8:28.70, who had some bad luck with a dropped baton on the final exchang. Finishing 5th was Lewiston High School 8:29.11 while Gorham High School 8:31.94 scored from the first heat, rounding out the scoring teams was Brunswick High School 8:33.43 in 7th

Tony Sen (Deering High School) 8.12 led the trials qualifiers.

Jesse Orach (Gorham High School) 4:33.61 ran a strong race to grab 2nd place, with Mohammed Bare (Lewiston High School) 4:35.09 running a personal best for 3rd. In 4th was Robert Hall (Scarborough High School) 4:36.80 followed by his teammate Wout Moulin (Scarborough High School) 4:37.48 in 5th. Andy Reifman-Packett (Mt. Ararat High School) 4:38.22 had a seasonal best for 6th. Jon Stanhope (Bangor High School) 4:38.46 finished 7th.

400 Meter Dash - Alex Nichols (Brunswick High School) 51.05 had to come from behind on the bac stretch to win the title, he was followed closely by McKenzie Gary (Mt. Ararat High School) 51.19. A hard closing Nate Bucknell (Gorham High School) 51.91 crossed in 3rd, while Jeremy Collins (Bonny Eagle High School) 52.36 held on for 4th place. In 5th place was James Ociti (Biddeford High School) 52.38. Scoring 6th from heat 3 was Jimmy Campbell (Cheverus High School) 52.56 who had a blistering kick to take it, also from heat 3 scoring 7th was Austin Bell (Gorham High School) 52.73

Mitchell Black (Brunswick High School) 2:00.27 ran a seaosnl best closing well over the last 300 to finish 2nd, a hard charging Brady Foshay (Cheverus High School) 2:00.78 ran a lifetime best for 3rd place. Will Hirnak (Mt. Ararat High School) 2:01.64 ran well for 4th. From heat 2 Nick Oram (Mt. Ararat High School) 2:03.02 ran an aggressive race that paid off as he finished 5th overall. In 6th was Darryl Wilkinson (South Portland High School) 2:04.30 followed by Trey Williams (Brewer High School) 2:04.82 in 7th.

In 6th was Robert Hall (Scarborough High School) 10:14.28 followed by Jesse Orach (Gorham High School) 10:15.33 in 7th.

Pre-meet favorite and state leader Bryan White (Deering High School) 46-11.5 had some timing issues but still finished 3rd. An unseeded Shane Corbett (Bonny Eagle High School) 45-9.5 was 4th, while Duncan Preston (South Portland High School) 44-11.5 personal best landed him in 5th place. 6th went to Robbie Hamilton (Windham High School) 44-9 & rounding out the top 7th was Leo Gaghan (Lewiston High School) 44-2

In 5th Billy Farrell (Deering High School) 40-11.75 had a huge day. 6th place went to Justin Hardesty (Windham High School) 39-10.5 who set a personal best. Zachary Sutherland (Messalonskee High School) 39-10 finished 7th overall.
