SMAA: BE, Cheverus, Gorham, Noble, Portland

The Bonny Eagle girls ripped a new state leader in the girls 4x800 with a 10:10.76. Kiera Murray of Cheverus ran the #2 2 mile in Class A with a strong last 800m, Murray's time was 11:39.36

On the boys side sophomore Jake Dixon clocked 24.45 to break the Jr 200m record. Tyson Goodale of Bonny Eagle clocked an SMAA & Class A leading 8.19 in the 55m hurdles, he added the #2 Long jump as well 20-9. Cheveru's Michael Orne equalled the state lead in the high jump with a 6-2 clearance

Sr 400 Meter Dash - Nicole Lanoie of Noble High School smoked a 1:05.73 to win, a new SB with Jackie Turner of Gorham High School in her shadow at 1:06.15, Elyse Caiazzo of Cheverus High School (1:06.38), Kayla Thompson of Noble High School (1:07.21)

Jr 400 Meter Dash Impressive top speed helped Kialeigh Marston of Bonny Eagle High School win in 1:07.35, trailed by Sarah Mount of Cheverus High School and her 1:07.50

Sr 200 Meter Dash - Impressive top speed helped Jackson Mcmann of Cheverus High School win in 24.18 just over Austin Bell of Gorham High School 24.69 After that was Brandon Richard of Noble High School at 24.84, Michael Orne of Cheverus High School (25.01)

Jr 200 Meter Dash- Jake Dixon of Cheverus High School took it home in 24.45 (his best of the year) which broke the jr 200m record, trailed by Cam Johnson of Noble High School and his 24.63

Sr 400 Meter Dash - Impressive top speed helped Ethan Beaulier of Noble High School win in 55.01 trailed by Drew Graham of Portland High School and his 55.72

Jr 400 Meter Dash- Jake Dixon of Cheverus High School sprinted 55.12 for the victory,

Sr 55 Meter Hurdles - Tyson Goodale of Bonny Eagle High School earned gold in 8.19Nailed it! Following closely behind was the 8.36 by Travis Grant of Gorham High School. They were followed by David Terwilliger of Cheverus High School (8.82)

Jr 55 Meter Hurdles Jacob Schott of Cheverus High School wins in 8.85

Sr 55 Meter Dash - Ethan Beaulier of Noble High School took it home in 6.81with Jackson Mcmann of Cheverus High School in tow at 6.98. After that was Donald Goodrich of Cheverus High School at 7.05

Jr 55 Meter Dash- Cam Johnson of Noble High School blazed a 7.09 for the win

Sr 800 Meter Run - Brady Foshay of Cheverus High School earned a 2:07.78 win just out-kicking the 2:08.13 by James Patchell of Bonny Eagle High School. They were followed by Ben Allen of Portland High School (2:09.86), Garrett Swett of Bonny Eagle High School (2:10.89)

Pole Vault - With the bar at 11-0, Jordan Trafford of Bonny Eagle High School gets the gold

Shot Put - Nice toss of 43-3 for Brad Kritzer of Cheverus High School for the victory, which is his best throw of the season

SMAA: Biddeford-Deering-McAuley-TA

Charlotte Pierce of Thornton Academy ran the Class A leader for 2 Miles 11:26.09. In the Shot Put Ashley Belanger of Biddeford took over the state lead with a 34-5 toss.

Andrew Smith of Thornton Academy had a record breaking night. First Smith broke his own Jr 55m dash record clocking a 6.91, then in the long jump he smashed the old record of 19-8 1/2 by over a foot with a state leading mark of 20-9 1/2. In the shot put Deering's Jared Bell improved his state leading mark to 53-3 1/2. There were also other big marks in the shot with David LapPauloe of Thornton throwing the #2 mark in the state 49-1 1/2 and his teammate Cody Meserve throwng 47-2.

SMAA:Massabesic-Scarborough-SP-Westbrook-Windham

South Portland's Nyajock Pan ran the #3 800m in the state with a 2:29.49 clocking. Lauren Magnuson won the Jr 55m, Jr 400m, Jr Long Jump, & anchored the winning Jr 4x200 Relay.

On the boys side Scarborough's Jerry Kenney broke the few hour old Jr 200m record of Jake Dixon running a solo 24.39 to take .06 off the record. In the 4x800 Scarborough behind a 2:02 leg from Robby Hall lowered the state leading mark to 8:34.74.
