KVAC Class A Girls Virtual Meet

It is expected to be a close one for the girls team title at the KVAC Championship on Saturday at Bowdoin College. Messalonskee enters as slight favorite over Edward Little based on the seeds and the performances of the athletes competing.

Leading the way for the Eagles on the sprint side is Emma Wentworth who is the top seed in the 55m & 200m. Charlotte Wentworth is the top seed in the 400m. Messalosnkee's distance team with Peyton Arbour leading the charge is expected to garner key points in the title run as well.

Distance standout Jillian Richardson will do the heavy lifting for the Red Eddies as she is the top seed in the mile, 800m, 2 mile and 4x800m. Julia Berube is another standout for EL, she is the top seed in the 55m hurdles and expected to score in the triple jump

Mt Ararat's Wyley Fitzpatrick will be one to watch, she is the top seed in the long & triple jump.

This is looking like it could be an exciting meet that comes down to the final race the 4x200m relay to decide the champion.
