Dan Smith pops a huge throw in the SP 59-4!

Thornton Academy's Dan Smith launched a new PR in the Shot put in a SMAA regular season meet at Windham HS today. It was Smith's first time ever over 59ft, and pulls him within 1.25" of the all time state record held by Ed Bogdanovich (Portland HS) set back in 1977, it is the oldest state record on the books. The throw ranks Smith #40 in the country right now
