Southwestern Championship: Scarborough Girls/Cheverus Boys win crowns

The Scarborough Red Storm girls and the Cheverus Stag boys won Southwestern titles at Thornton Academy today. There were several fine performances on the day, stay tuned for a recap, race videos and pictures from all the action. Abbey Leonardi (pictured left) set a new all-time state best in the 1600, 4:52.78, she also clocked a new state leader and conference record in the 800m 2:16.7.
