The defending Class A champion Scarborough Red Storm opened up their 2011 Outdoor season in fine form on Tuesday. Leading the way was Emilia Scheemaker 17-3 (LJ) & 35-7 (TJ) both state leaders, also starring for the Red Storm was Nicole Kirk 12.75 (100m) & 26.64 (200m) & Emily Tolman 60.45 (400m) & 16-9 1/2 (LJ). Scarborough also posted a fast 4x400m time of 4:15.29. The final score was Scarborough 142, Kennebunk 72, Marshwood 37, Deering 32. Other standouts in the meet where Edie Pallozzi (Deering) won the 1600 (5:44.02) & Ella Ramonas (deering who took the 800 (2:33.3). There was also a great HJ competition as Hannah Johnston (Kennebunk) edged Leah Dodier (Marshwood) on misses with both clearing 5-0 RESULTS
