PVC Small School Championship 2011

Roughly a month of postseason play in high school sports kicks off this weekend, as Penobscot Valley Conference track and field teams will battle for conference supremacy. The PVC Small Championship finished up today 5/31. The Orono boys were victorious with 124 points with Foxcroft Academy in 2nd with 57. On the girls side John Bapst dominated the rest of the league scoring 155. Orono was the runner-up with 107. On the boys side Miguel Caballero (Orono) had two wins 11.40 (100m) &  23.54 (200m) both marks are FAT Class C leaders, he was names "Oustanding Male Performer of the meet". On the girls side Foxcroft's Emily Panciera won the 400m & 200m & was on the winning 4x400 team, she earned "Oustanding Female Performer of the meet"
