Best time in a 5K is 14:57 at New Balance outdoor Nationals.

 

Tell us how your summer training is going?:

Summer training is going pretty well, its been really consistent.


What are your goals for the upcoming season?:

My goals for this year are to win states and maybe New Englands and then head to Footlocker in New York and hopefully make the nationals.

                                                                                                                                                         
How long have you been running and how did you get started?:

I've been running seriously since freshman year, I always thought I was a sprinter in middle school and quickly realized I wasn't. The high school coach really got me into distance running.

 

Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?:

I will be competing in New Hampshire at Manchester Invite and in New York at Footlocker Regionals and in Manchester again at New Englands.

 


What is the toughest course to run in Maine?:

The toughest course to run in maine is probably the augusta course where we run mvc's. pretty hilly and grassy and some roots make it tough.


What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?:

During the season I probably try to get the best results at Festival of Champions. It is a good tune up race for states and new englands and is a very cool race.

 

What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career?:

New Englands at Twin Brook last year was my favorite race yet because I cane off a really bad week at states and ran really well and was leading with a mile to go and in 3rd with 300 to go before I fell in some mud and got 5th.
 

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?:

Outside of running, I love to snowmobile, I hate winter but I can deal with it because of snowmobiling.

 

Favorite quote?:

My favorite quote is "fail better".

 

What shoes do you train in?:

I usually train in some kind of nike shoe but also do not mind asics because they are nice and padded.

 

What professional athlete would you most like to meet?

I would love to meet either Mo Farah or Haile Gabressalasse



What is something that most people don't know about you?
 

Most people dont know that I never even really ran until high school. I never did cross country in middle school and only did track in eighth grade.
