Tell us how your summer training is going?:

Summer Training has been going well, it has been my first summer where I have seriously trained and I'm excited for what it has done to my fitness!

What are your goals for the upcoming season?:

My goals for this coming season include staying healthy, leading my team to a strong season, and running a new pr for 5k!

How long have you been running and how did you get started?:

I've been running since middle school, where I competed in track and cross country. I started running because that was what my cousins did and it seemed fun.

Will you be competing anywhere out of state this season?:

This season I plan on racing at the Manchester Invitational with my team, and hopefully at New Englands and the Footlocker Northeast meet.

What is your favorite course to run in Maine?:

My favorite course to run in Maine would have to be Belfast, a fast course where the conditions are almost never agreeable, hopefully they will be this season!

What is the toughest course to run in Maine?:

I believe that the toughest course in Maine is my home course, there are multiple challenging hills, many 90 degree turns, and bad footing throughout. Maybe I'm a little biased but I don't recall a more challenging course.

What meet during the regular season do you put extra emphasize on to compete well at?:

This year I plan to put extra emphasis on the Manchester Invitational, the reason behind this is that New Englands will be held on the same course, Derryfield Park. The Manchester Invite should be a great viewing opportunity.

What is your favorite cross country race so far in your high school career & favorite cross country memory?:

My favorite cross country race, and cross country memory, so far in my high school career was the Class B eastern maine championships this year, my team won for the first time in years and it was fun to run in the crazy conditions.

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?:

When I'm not running my favorite things to do are play ping pong, eat food, and read!

My favorite quote is "Who are you not to be GREAT!"-unknown

What shoes do you train in?:

I train in the Kinvara 4's. (Free from Acadian Running Camp)

What shoes do you race in?:

I race in the Nike Zoom Matumbo 2's.

What professional athlete would you most like to meet?:

The professional athlete that I would most like to meet would have to be Evan Jager. The primary reason for this is that he runs the steeplechase which is the event I plan on competing in in college.

What is something that most people don't know about you?

One thing that most people don't know about me is that my coach is also my Uncle, his son, my cousin, is our #3-4 guy on our team. This makes for a fun team dynamic, and also a close-knit team.
