One week into the SMAA regular season and the record books have already been re-written. In the boys junior shot put sophomore Jason Montano of Thornton Academy broke Matt Brady's junior shot put record with his throw of 49-6. In the junior 55m dash Deering Songha Loth tied the league record with his 6.86 effort.
