What are your goals for the upcoming season?

My goals for the upcoming season are to set a new PR in all my events and really try to perfect a few things to improve starts out of blocks.

What have you done to improve in the off-season?

I have done a lot of physical therapy, and different hurdle workouts and strengthening drills as well as distance runs throughout the week.

What does a typical week look like for you training wise?

I usually tend to do a workout every other day, but this can change depending on hurdle workouts as well. I also add strength in between off workout days, or some strength after certain workouts. I like to do block starts as often as I can as well throughout the week.

What competitions are you most looking forward to this season?

I am mostly looking forward to hurdles this season, and also going against all the returning runners from the last season. As well as seeing how the team does together.

What was one thing you learned last year that will help you the most this season?

I learned how to better warm up and prepare for races and how important it is to stay healthy throughout the season and take care of yourself.

Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?

I eat peanut M&Ms before each event.

What is your favorite food to eat the night before a meet?

Spaghetti and meatballs.

What is the best piece of advice anyone has given you?

Don't worry about the people around you, focus on your own race and visualize your goals for the race.
