Mt Ararat won the 2019 Class A team title
The best in Class A Boys will compete for the state title on Wednesday at Saxl Park in Bangor. Below you will find a list of competitions and their best 5k times from the 2020 season. While the list is scored based on the fastest 5k times, it doesn't take into consideration course difficulty so while most teams had the opportunity to run on a fairly fast course their maybe be a few teams that didn't have the same opportunity this fall.
The individual race is loaded with ten athletes ranked in the Maine MileSplit Watchlist. Ben Greene (Falmouth) is #1 ranked, Tyler Patterson (Brunswick) is #2, Grady Satterfield (Mt Ararat) is #3, Zachary Barry (Scarborough) is #4, Abbott Valentine (Hampden Academy) is #5, Daniel McCarthy (Bangor) is #6, Erik LoSacco (Scarborough) is #7, Gordon Doore (Bangor) is #8, Calvin Cummings (Gorham) is #12, and James Fahey (Bangor) is #15. Greene, Patterson, and Satterfield have all run under 16 minutes for 5k this fall.
