When and how did you get into track and field?

I started in 7th grade.

Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

Miles Gay of Falmouth.

What was your greatest accomplishment?

Breaking 50 in the 400m indoors.

How has track and field impacted your life?

It has changed my life and allowed me to compete in college athletics.


What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

Being confident when I was in a slump in speed or not running the times I wanted.

How do you prepare for competitions?

I would eat a good meal the night before get a good night's sleep two nights before and make sure I ate the day of meets regularly.

What influence has your coach had on your high school career?

Fishing, snowboarding, and disc golf.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of track and field?

He has had the biggest impact on me by believing in me and pushing me to become not just a good athlete but a better man.

What are your college plans?

Going to Saint Joseph's College in Maine to study physical education.


What are your long-term goals?

Continue running and be successful in life.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

I would like to say thank you to my coaches, my teammates, my family, and my competitors for pushing me to my absolute best.

What advice would you give to younger athletes?

Take the time to do things right and work hard when no one else will, you will surprise yourself. Also, have trust in your coaches.
