2023 Outlook

The Res Storm have been one of the top programs year over year but last fall they slipped to 7th place in the Class A state meet. They will be motivated coming into the 2023 season with several runners back from that squad. Junior Ethan Keller who was injured at state meet last fall and finished 49th will be looking to lead the team this fall. Keller finished fourth in both the 2 mile indoor and 3200m outdoors in the state meet, clocking 9:49.86. Another runner that was injured and didn't compete at states was Nicholas Koziell who will look to make an impact. Colby Shumway could be the most improved for the Red Storm he ran 4:44.67 for 1600m, and 10:35.73 for 3200m outdoors. Scarborough has 15 new freshman, and the chances one or more emerge is pretty good this fall.

Coach Jim Harmon's Comments

Summer training went well. Most of the team was consistently training so we should be ready for speedwork and races in late August.

I think the team will be competitive and as usual, our goal is to have a shot at the state championship title.
