Festival of Champions Meet Hub
The 24th Maine Festival of Champions will take place on Saturday at the Troy Howard Middle School. it will feature nine of the top ten ranked individuals in our week #3 MileSplit Maine rankings. Ten athletes featured in our chase pack are scheduled to toe the line. There is an international flavor to the meet with individuals from Nova Scotia expected to challenge for individual and team victories. Twenty-five athletes in Maine have run under 20 minutes this fall and twenty-four of those athletes are entered. Hopefully, the weather cooperates as rain is scheduled for the early morning hours, then showers until about one o'clock to ensure some fast times on a speedy course.
