Week 3 of the cross country season delivered some standout performances - now it's your turn to decide who earns the spotlight!
Boys Nominees
Alex Gilbert (Freeport) - won the Southern Maine Classic as he dominated the field with his 15:40 winning effort.
Enzo Giampaolo (Lewiston) - took the victory at Mt. Ararat, clocking 17:50 for 5k
William Morris (Dirigo) remained undefeated on the season as he ran 16:44 to win at Hall-Dale
Andrew Barrett (Orono) triumphed at the Bucksport Invitational with a 16:20 effort over 2.84 miles
Malachi Witmer (Houlton/GHCA) was victorious at the Caribou Invitational with a 17:12 over 5k.
Owen Card (Lincoln Academy) ran 17:20 for 5k to win at Leaviit
Levi Riggs (Morse) took the top spot with a victory on his home course in 16:47 for 5k.
Girls Nominees
Maya Boyington (Orono) won the Bucksport Invitational in dominating fashion with an 18:41 for 2.84 miles
Rowan Barry (Greely) cruised to win at the Southern Maine Classic in 18:01 for 5k.
Karen Higgins (Lincoln Academy) won at Leavitt in 18:57 for 5k.
Ava Collamore (Medomak Valley) took the win at Morse as she finished in 20:57 for 5k.
Bryanna Hagopian (Madison) clocked 20:37 for victory at Hall-Dale.
Emma Graves (Caribou), the freshman, clocked 20:25 to win the Caribou Invitational.
