We dug into our database to see which athletes showed the greatest year-over-year improvement at the KVAC Championship held at Cony High School. While there was a slight course adjustment - with the finish line moved to the lower field - the overall distance remained 5K.

In total, 67 girls ran faster times this fall, thanks in part to the ideal weather and excellent course conditions. Maddy St. Charles of Camden Hills led the way as she went from 25:38 down to 21:25, over a 4-minute improvement with her eighth-place finish.
