Can-AM Dual Racewalk competitors
Edward's Little Abby Dunn won the CAN-AM 5k racewalk held in Boston on Sunday. Dunn completed the 5k road course in 25:54. to win by 37 seconds over USA teammate Erica Shaver. Dunn lead the US to an easy victory in the girls team competition (7 to 15). Other Mainers competing were former Waterville HS standout Courtney Williams, who finished 4th (27:13) & Lewiston HS Nicole Court-Menedez 10th (29:53). On the Boy's side, Canada took the win (9-13), Medomak Valley's Ian Rixon finished 9th in the 10k walk 55:59. The US squad was also coached by Monmouth Academy coach Tom Menedez.
