Kevin Lavertu (Lewiston HS) received 50% of the vote this week for his outstanding performance @ Oxford Hills. Lavertu broke the course record running 18:12 for 5k on the difficult layout once again leading his team to victory. Kevin has been in the top 6 in each race this fall. For his excellent performance he has been voted the MaineTrackXC "Performance of the Week" winner for boys
Aleta Looker (Ellsworth HS) ran her fastest time of season @ Sectional XC Championships last weekend, she crossed the line first in 19:45. Looker is undefeated on the season heading into this weekend's FOC meet. Aleta received 21.43% of vote to edge out Abby Mace & Abbey Leonardi to earn the "Performance of the Week" winner for girls
