Willow Parker (Camden Hills) a freshman continued her impressive rookie campaign with a victory in the Camden Hills invitational. Parker covered the 5k course in 19:04.46 to finish 30 seconds in front of the runner-up. Willow has made a name for herself already with 3 wins under her belt & a strong 8th place finish at Festival of Champions. Her best time on the season is 18:59.43. For her excellent performance Willow has been voted the MaineTrackXC "Performance of the Week" winner for girls
Tim Follo (Falmouth) won his 4th race of the season @ Twin Brook last Friday. Follo covered the 5k course the same layout as the State meet in a sub 17 minute performance as he clocked 16:53. Tim is the leader on the #1 ranked boys team in state. Follo who was the Class B runner-up last fall will be looking for similiar success later this month, and hopes to lead his team to the state title.For his excellent performance Tim has been voted the MaineTrackXC "Performance of the Week" winner for boys
