#3 Camden Hills girls were impressive again winning their home invite behind a 1-2 finish from Willow Parker (19:04) & Brittany Bowman (19:34) over #11 Brunswick 21-55 (although Brunswick ran w/O Teresa Murphy & Katie McMahon. Benson Worthington (Brunswick) took the indiviudal crown crossing the line first in 17:05, and led his Dragons to the team victory.

BANGOR BOYS & MT ARARAT GIRLS WIN AT MT BLUE RELAYS The Bangor boys and Mt. Ararat girls both used excellent team depth to pick up the team titles at the Mt. Blue Relays. There were 18 schools that took part in the race. Boothbay's Chase Brown and Bethanie Brown of Waterville turned in the fastest times of the day. (photo by Glendon Rand)

Ellsworth Boys & MDI Girls triumph @ Hancock Championships
The Ellsworth boys behind a course record from Dan Curts (14:24) captured the Hancock County Boys Championship on Friday. The Eagles had 7 of the first ten finishers to tally 23 points, MDI was 2nd with 53. On the girls side Aleta Looker captured the individual title covering the 2.55 mile course in 16:48 almosta minute in front of runner-up Maggie Painter. The top ranked Class B team MDI showed it's depth taking spots 2-8 to win the title with just 20 points, Ellsworth finished 2nd. Click headline for race video.

MVC: Carrabec, H-D, Telstar, Winthrop @ Madison
Madison's Matt McClintock broke his home course record by 49 seconds in route to a dominating win. Telstar boys continue to run well with an easy team victory with 4 of the top 6. Bronte Elias (Madison) took the girls race crossing the line in 21:50, her team took the victory as well.

- 5000 Meter Run - Matt McClintock (Madison Memorial High School) 15:45.00;
SMAA: Portland, Windham, Sanford @ Kennebunk
Chris Dunn (Kennebunk) defeated a strong field on his home course, Dunn clocked 15:52 for the 2.9 Mile course. Windham HS took the team victory with 29 points. On the girls side Laura Broderick (Ken) edged out Hannah Damron & Talia McKay of Windham for the win, Broderick's time was 19:13. The Windham girls took the team race with a perfect score.
SMAA: Scarborough, Thornton Academy @ Cheverus
#2 Scarborough had an impressive showing with 6 of the top 7 finishers to score an easy team victory. Wout Moulin (Scar) rebounded from a tough race at FOC winning in a personal best 17:14. On the girls side #1 Cheverus took 5 of the top 7 positions to secure the team win. Keira Murray notched the win 19:43. Cheverus wil run again Sunday at Manhattan Invite.

SMAA: Westbrook, Massabesic @ McAuley
#4 Massabesic girls notched a perfect score as they had the first 5 finishers led by Jocelyn Acheson's win in 19:40. On the boys side Massabesic took the duel meet over Westbrook 22-39, Cody Vachon of Massabesic led the way in 17:37 for the win.

SMAA:Deering, Noble @ Gorham
Deering boys notched the victory behind a win from Tom Dean (17:11), on the girls side Gorham edged Deering 28-29 in the team race, while Ella Ramonas (Deering) took the individual win (20:24)
WMC: Cape, Falmouth, Yarmouth @ Greely
#1 Falmouth boys were impressive once again this time taking down #3 Greely & #11 Cape (who didnt run a full squad). The Yactshmen behind the individual win of Tim Follo (16:53) won 30-48 over the host team, Greely as they placed 5 in the top 9 without #2 man Jay Lesser.
On the girls side #8 Falmouth continued their late season surge with a 47-53 win over #6 Cape Elizabeth. Falmouth got a big boost with a surprising individual win from Madeline Roberts (20:47) as she held off a late charging Martha Veroneau (Wayn) 20:50.
