No. 8 Jack Bouchard breaks Maine all-time record in the Javelin with a toss of 200-6
York junior Jack Bouchard had a sensational season that started when he threw a personal best & state all-time best mark of 199-4 on May 1 during a Western Maine conference regular season meet. The mark surpassed the nine year old record of NYA's Michael Moody (198-10) and improved on his personal best by 12 feet 8 inches.
Bouchard would remain undefeated during the championship season as he won he second consecutive Class B state javelin title. Jack would do it in record breaking style as not only did he break the state meet record of 192-10, he surpassed his own state all-time best mark with a toss of 200-6.
The 200-6 throw ranked Bouchard 16th in the country in 2015, he is the 6th best returner in the event for 2016.
