Tell us how your summer training is going?
After doing 3 seasons of running as well as basketball in the winter with indoor I was pretty tired going into the summer so I started my training a little late. My favorite place to train was up at my camp and do night runs. Last summer i went into the season barely running at all which made it harder going into the season.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?
I'm really hoping to get low 19s or go even sub 19 some point this season.

How long have you been running and how did you get started?
The person who got me to start running and who believed in me most was my coach, Tim Even. I started in 6th grade and my favorite event then was the mile, my best time was 5:51 and then I didn't realize how impressive that was for that age.

What's a typical training week like?
Last season we ran 30-45 minute runs sometimes followed by core and we usually had 1-2 workouts a week. This season we have a new coach so I'm excited to see what's to come!

What is your favorite workout? I like short distance workouts better than long. I'd rather do 12 200s than 4 1000s.

What is your favorite course to run in Maine?
My favorite course is Belfast.

What is the toughest course to run in Maine?
My least favorite course is, like many, Twin Brook.

Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?
My biggest accomplishment was winning the FOC freshman race last year. There was a lot of strong completion and it really came down to the last 200 meters.

What do you love most about running?
My favorite thing about running is the people you meet and the competition that always supports you. I've met so many runners that are some of the nicest people I know yet some of my biggest competitors. It's good to know you have friends out there on the courses.

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
My favorite sport is actually basketball. In the winter time I do indoor track as well as basketball and I play aau in the spring.

Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
Our team always has a prayer circle lead by my teammate, Emma Lombardo.

Favorite quote?
I don't really have a favorite quote but this years team quote is "Trust the Process"

What shoes do you race/train in?
I train in Brooks and race in Sauconys.

What professional athlete would you most like to meet?
Hands down Tom Brady.

What is something that most people don't know about you?
Cross country is actually my least favorite sport out of season but during the season I do enjoy it.

Lastly, if you were stranded on an island with three things what would they be?
Water, Food, and a boat.
