Tell us how your summer training is going?
Training has gone well; I ran more miles this summer than I have before, and have been more dedicated to the sport.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?
I hope my team can qualify for New Englands, and I hope I can place well at States.

How long have you been running and how did you get started?
I have been running since second grade. I began running because I saw my cousin run a half mile with the rec program and thought it looked fun.

What's a typical training week like?
We usually have workouts Monday and Wednesday and a recovery run Tuesday. We have an easy run Thursday and then either a meet or a long run on Friday.

What is your favorite workout?
I like short sprint repeats.

What is your favorite course to run in Maine?
My favorite course is Belfast because it's pretty easy to run, and when my team runs there it's either the Festival of Champions or States, which are both exciting races.

What is the toughest course to run in Maine?
Twin Brook

Out of all your running accomplishments so far, which stands out the most?
Winning States in cross country last year as a team.

What do you love most about running?
The feeling you get after PRing or having a really good race.

When you are not running what is your favorite thing to do?
I like to play other sports, like football and basketball, with my friends.

Do you have any pre-race rituals or routines?
Sometimes before races our team writes "All In" on our arms, the motto of a Greely alumni who was widely respected.

Favorite quote?
It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul. William Ernest Henley

What was the last movie you saw and what did you think of it?
The last movie I watched was Spiderman Homecoming. I thought it was pretty good; it was one of the best superhero movies I've seen.

What shoes do you race/train in?
I used the Saucony Ride 7s as trainers all of last year, and I really liked them.  I raced in the Saucony Havocs.

What professional athlete would you most like to meet?
Tom Brady

What is something that most people don't know about you?
I like burgers cooked medium well.

Lastly, if you were stranded on an island with three things what would they be?

A warning flare, clothes, and a 16 inch ham pizza.
