Senior Charlie Collins of Hampden Academy showed why he is one of the top runners in the state of Maine as he navigated the hilly and soggy course at Cony High School on Saturday afternoon to win the KVAC cross-country Class A title in 17:05.30. Second place finisher Logan Ouellette of Leavitt took the Class B individual title with his 17:25.10 effort. 

On the girls side senior Abby Williams of Waterville shot out to the lead from the gun and never looked back as she stopped the clock at 20:34.70, her winning margin was thirty-two seconds. Second place finisher Payton Bell of Edward Little claimed the Class A title with her 21:06.

Top ranked Hampden Academy cruised in the Class A boys race with 48 points while Brunswick (#3) was the runner-up with 71 points. In Class B Lincoln Academy tallied 51 to win over Morse by 20 points.

On the girls side Bangor dominated the competition scoring just 33 points as they placed all five scorers in the top 13. The runner-up was Camden Hills. In the Class B competition Lincoln Academy was top with 34 points, Maranacook finished as the runner-up 51 points back.
