2012-13 Indoor Track Event Previews: 55m Hurdles
Class A
There is some excellent hurdling talent back in 2013 with 5 scorers from a year ago. State runner-up Allison Hill of Brunwick is the top returner, Hill ran a trong 8.64 last year in the state meet, she followed that up with another runner-up finish in the outdoor 100m hurdles. Bnagor's Grace Maclean narrowly finished 3rd last winter, she ran 8.65 in the state meet. During the outdoor season she finished 4th in the 100m hurdle final at states. There could be alot of maroon and gold on the pdoium in the hurdles this winter as Thornton Academy returns 3 scorers. Tori Daigle was 5th as a freshman and matched that in the 100m hurdles outdoors. Amanda Arnold was 6th indoors & 8th outdoors, while Carly McKenna nabbed the last spot on the podium during indoors.
All returners who meet the state qualifying mark of 10.0

Class B
The Waterville Purple Panthers return the top 2 hurdlers from a year ago. Senior Alexa Frame finished 3rd, and is the only returner that broke 9 seconds in 2012. Frame's teammate Sarah Shoulta was 4th as a freshman last winter, she finished 3rd in the outdoor 100m hurdles. Greely's Hannah Keisman nabbed a 5th place to earn a spot on the podium a year ago. The other returner scorer is Alexa Dufour of Old Town who was 6th, she returns with the 3rd fastest time from 2012 and also placed 7th in the 100m hurdle outdoors. One to watch is Kellie Bolduc of Waterville who ran to a 5th place finish outdoors in the 100m hurdles.
