The WMC Conference Championship titles were won by the Greely Girls & Falmouth Boys in Division 1 while the Traip Academy girls & Sacopee Valley Boys took Div 2 titles. The meet produced 5 national elite marks. Highlighting the girls meet was Jenna Serunian throwing 40-3 3/4 in the shot put for a new state leader. On the boys side the shot put was the featured event with Michael Burgess launching a huge throw of 55-3 1/2 in the finals, the mark is a new state leader. 2011 Western Maine Conference Track & Field Championship Preview On the boy's side, it should be a great battle between York and Falmouth for the Division I title. Both teams possess major depth a few star athletes.
