Hi Everyone!

The Indoor season is finally upon us! I hope all of you had a productive off season and have had a great first week of practice. This year's football season was a great time, but I'm excited to get back into throwing.

My training has been going well. I've been eating a lot healthier and dedicating a majority of my time in the weight room and the shot put ring. I've picked up the rotation technique during the summer, and I must say it is rather challenging, but worth learning! My distances have increased ever since I switched from gliding. It's just so hard for high schoolers to truly master it, but I'm getting there!

What I truly missed during the off season is easily competing! There's just something special about stepping in that ring, with spectators watching, cheering, and yelling at the end of my throws, It's a great feeling!

My biggest goal for the season is to throw over the state record mark (62-1) in the shot put by the end of the winter. Yes it's far throw, but a realistic goal!

Have a great thanksgiving break with your families!- Daniel Guiliani
