All-Time 1600m Programs
We've been working to expand our vast results database this summer adding in several state championship meets dating back to 1996, and the plan is to continue throughout the summer. While we don't have every team's top athletes of all-time we wanted to take a look at the data we had to see what programs (schools) had the top performers in every track and field event outdoors.
We scored each team just like a cross-country meet, giving 1 point for the fastest time and so on. A program's score is based on the top five performers in the event with the top 7 athletes acting as displacers.
Today we are going to take a look at the girl's 1600m. Below are the top five programs based on the results we currently have in the database. For the complete list of 97 teams visit the link below.

Bonny Eagle is the top ranked 1600m program with five girls at 5:15.03 or faster. Leading the way is sub five member Kialeigh Marston who clocked 4:59.04. Marston ranks fifth best in state history. Behind her Amber Dostie ran 5:09.54 while recent graduate Christine Toy ranks third with her 5:10 personal best. The Scots averaged 5:09.34 with all seven athletes at 5:17.41 or better.
The Rams of Kennebunk rank just behind Bonny Eagle. Standout Abbey Leonardi ranks second best in state history with her 4:51.57 effort. Her sister Alex is second with a personal best 5:09.75. Kennebunk's scoring five averaged 5:08.15 while having times of 5:14.35 or faster.
Cape Elizabeth is next behind Elise Moody-Robert's personal best, 5:04.45. Behind her Claire Egan ran 5:07.20 while all five scorers were at 5:14.35 or better.
The Rangers of Greely are ranked fourth behind Katherine Leggat-Barr's 5:03.24 and Kirstin Sandreuter's 5:03.76. Greely averaged 5:09.67 for their scoring five with times of 5:14.45 or faster.
Rounding out the top five is Mt Ararat. The Eagles are led by Jen Moreau who ranks third best all-time in state history with her 4:57.27. Behind her Beth Wilcox ran 5:04.84 while Krystal Douglas clocked a 5:05.30.
