XC Countdown 2024: Tim Collins (Hampden Academy)

#12 Tim Collins (Hampden Academy)
Class of 2025

2023 Results

Class A State Meet 24th place (17:02.31)

Class A Regional 21st place (18:03.38)

New England Championship 127th place (17:09.27)

Collins didn't end his 2023 XC the way he wanted as he finished 24th in the Class A state meet, a year earlier he finished ninth. Tim did run his best races at the end of last XC season and carried that over to track in the winter where he ran 10:00.67 to finish sixth in the two mile. During the outdoor season, Collins ran his best race at the Class A state meet in the 3200m where he placed fifth in a personal best 9:57.87. After a consistent summer of training look for Tim to rebound and be one of the best runners in the state in 2024 on the trails.
